It has always felt to me like coaching has held this team back. jj was the worst qb I had seen since aaron brooks. it always seemed like all he did was get worse. How could this genius head coach not make a change? Sorry I'm late on this but I just made my account yesterday. If you're gonna disagree please give me something other than win loss record. bad quarterbacks on good teams can still win, but it holds your team back when you play good defenses!

Wow bro, how profound. this has never been discussed on this board, ever.

I guess that settles it, because my eyes have been opened. Fire Les. Love purple, live gold.

LSU doesn't have a monopoly on talent, other teams are more talented or just as talented. The QB position has been weak for the last few years. Miles deserves the blame for not having a competent QB, but also gets credit for winning without one.

Just because it felt that way to you, doesn't mean it's accurate.

And we still beat everyone we played with him at QB last year.

I don't think Cal Ripken was the most reliable baseball player of all time, prove that he was without using the games-played streak.

this. Just win. He makes great hires (for the most part), recruits love him, players love him, and he WINS, albeit ugly at times.

Yea, and with a shitty qb at the helm we won the sec, beat Saban (twice), and almost won a national championship. Run his arse now!

Dude... duck and never come back unless you do some serious arse-kissing on the Rant. That kind of logical talk doesn't fly around here.

Yet we've still managed to find ways to win. 13 times last season.

Do you even know what logical means? This statement makes it seem that you don't. Please point out one piece of "logic" in the OP.

Nick Saban is a better coach. Urban Meyer is a better coach. You know who we can't get? Urban Meyer and Nick Saban. Les is right behind those guys on a coaching hierarchy. People keep talking about how talented our teams always are, you know who makes them that talented, LES MILES!! Besides, last years title for Saban had nothing to do with coaching and everything to do with luck. If LSU got another shot at Alabama this year in the title game theres a very good chance we'd win. And this year Saban got the benefit of having a much easier schedule. Both coaches have a .500 winning pct against teams in the top 10 this year. Les doesn't make the schedules. Use your brains

Go ahead and delete your account. We have enough idiots on this site already. All that matters are wins. As a fan, I don't really give a shite about graduation rates, player GPA's, discipline records or any of that off the field bullshite. But I keep up with all that and pretend I actually care about the players, all because the better those things go, the better my teams chances are for..... WINNING!
