I'm not saying I wont be pulling like crazy for our Tigers whenever the bowl game we are elected to is played, but I have to admit after last year and all the excitement going into the championship game after a perfect season this seems like misery finding out the the possible bowl we are going too will be..
Feeling sorry myself and the team after a great 10-2 season. "Must be a tough time to be a Tiger fan I guess" one of my LongHorn friends said joking around with me today..

I'm pulling hard for UGA this weekend. If they win, I'll be pulling hard for them Jan 7th.

I enjoy any kind of football any time of the year. I remember how much it sucks when it's just baseball season (MLB) so I never lose interest in football.

i lost some interest in CFB after we lost to bama. I knew at that point the ultimate prize was out of reach. consolation bowl games mean nothing unless its a BCS one. I still watch the games and pull for the tigers with all my might but you know in your heart it's not the same when title aspirations are gone.
Plus I can't stomach bama.

Not really sure what to say. Maybe I am missing something. I have had people at work say stuff like that to me throughout the season, specially after we lost to Bama. They aren't trying to be a dick, but its still like rubbing salt in the wound and something I don't want to hear, but maybe your buddy mean it in a good way somehow.

Yeah, try living in the Midwest. I'm going to spend the next seven weeks awash in a sea of unabated Notre Dame worship, listening to puffed up middle manager potatoes prance around and boast about the team annointed by a lurid golden Jesus.
I pray the SEC title winner humiliates them and sends them back to Indiana (INDIANA, for the love of God) full of self-doubt and contrition.

He was trying to say shut the fuk up and enjoy being a top 5 program in the country u crybaby bitch who cares what bowl u go to cause u were 10-2 in the SEC..

Ok so he was being sarcastic in that tone. Tough to tell intent through an internet message board. I agree with him if thats the case. I will never be dissappointed in a 10-2 season with the possiblity of finishing in the top 5 in the country in the final poll.

Dude. Football is a game. It's entertainment. It's meant to be enjoyed.
This calls for a drastic remedy. Watch this shite one time: The Boys of Fall If that don't bring back the excitement and love for the game to you, then yeah maybe take a break from it for your own benefit. No use to go around being miserable over something meant to be great.

I am looking forward to seeing the SEC champ beat the brakes off of the Irish this year. I am glad a left for dead has been is now given this amount of media love only to see it wither away in front of their eyes.
I hate Bama, but I am going to take them to the bank come BCS game.
