i started to but stopped because the first 15 seconds made it look like the entire show was going to be shown as one of those cheap reenactment scenes from unsolved mysteries.

I liked it....I am not a huge card player....but it didn't seem to be staged....I wonder how big under ground poker is....are there big games in BTR...New Orleans...??

I used to play pretty regularly in a weekly tournament held in Mandeville, where the tournament was pretty low dollar (buy in $40), they were cash games started as the tournament wound down where there would be $1,000's of dollars on the table. Not huge money, but still pretty significant.
