just with one less game to get a little help.

Seattle still has to play @ Chicago and against SF at home.

Minnesota's schedule is absolutely brutal and they have a young, inexperienced QB.

We still get to play TB.

Chill out.

Oh, and THIS is why you pull for Atlanta over TB earlier in the day.

If anything the Saints can even lose a 7th game and still make the playoffs so long as they beat the Giants/Cowboys/Tampa to go ahead of them in the Wild Card tiebreak.

Seattle could have 7 losses, same with Tampa, and Minnesota.

We get the early game this week, if we take care of ATL we could very well jump to the 6th seed.

Seattle plays AT Chicago
Minny plays AT Green Bay
Tampa plays AT Denver

The home teams will be heavily favored in each of those games.

I said this exact same thing at halftime because after that pick six, you just knew it was over, but for good measure drew threw one more just to remove any remaining doubt.

I think we are actually in better shape.

Minnesota will lose games. Tampa will lose games. Seattle will lose game, though I didn't expect them to lose today.

We just need your take care of business and we will be there.

Which is why tampa winning or losing wouldn't amount to shite.

If they beat Denver is sure does. We could beat them, putting us one game behind. Their remaining three games would be Philly and St. Louis, very winnable games. They finish the season against Atlanta, who may be playing for nothing, and they'll very happy to let TB beat them and knock us out of the playoffs. You can go on all you want about the TB game, but their loss is the best thing that happened to us today.

Had tampa won, this would not be an issue.

Depends on Chicago/SF/GB. If we beat both Atlanta and TB, Atlanta is still 4 games up on TB. Come the final week, Atlanta could still get the #1 seed with a loss to TB.

Seattle is about to lose both starting corners for 4 games. That could definitely cost them a game or two considering how good those guys have been.
