with the shady stuf he is involved in he probably will be retained to assure his silence. If they let him go he might sing like a bird, then AU will be screwed.

I know TD is low on logic but let's try using some
IF somehow Auburn did something wrong, that after a year of in depth investigation by the NCAA did not uncover, Trooper Taylor will run his mouth and ruin his future job prospects? ok

Use your brain. How many times have you ever seen this happen? Not very often considering all the coaches that get shitcanned each year. A coach, esp one that still needs to work like Taylor does, is not going to rat out his previous employer and ruin any chance of ever coaching again.
