I saw a projection that seemed to suggest the CFA had a higher pick than the Gator and that's how we'd end up there. Is that the case?

It is a possibility but I think Cotton Bowl is more likely.

Yes it is. Only 2 SEC can go BCS. UF is a sugar lock because of their ranking. BAMA/UGA national champion. If BAMA loses, then they go CAP 1 no doubt. If UGA loses, we may get CAP 1 over them but I doubt it. Cotton and Chick Fil A chooses between us and A&M. Cotton will pick A&M due to the texas connection and JFF. We're going to the Chick Fil A most likely.

Cfa does have higher pick than Gator. We're going to the same bowl we went to 4 years ago with 4 losses. At least it's a night game

Still some key games left to play that will shake up the bowls.

SEC CG
UT/KSU
Big 10 CG - due to probation - a 7-5 Wisconsin team is playing a 10-2 Nebraska. If Wis wins - a 8-5 team gets an automatic BCS nod.

What freaking sucks is in 05 we lose SEC Champ game and get sent to the Chik-Fil-A bowl with 2 losses. Now because of that year they changed the rules (unwritten) and pretty much screws us from the otherside! Unbelievable!

We will go to a better bowl than UGA. Just like when we got screwed after the SECCG on 05.

I sure hope your right, but it sure doesn't sound like it according to a lot of predictions I have been seeing.

LSU - Clemson would be a good matchup -- real Tigers vs. faux Tigers. Be funny to watch how many LSU things they copy. However, if Ala wins SECCG, and if it's true that UGA played in the Cap One Bowl last yr (I don't remember) then LSU-Michigan would seem to be an attractive matchup. I don't see the Cotton Bowl selecting LSU over A&M. The Outback could select LSU but to play Northwestern? Would rather play Clemson in the Chicken.

Its not that bad from a program stand point. Actually there are alot of advantages. payout doesn't matter because the money is basically split up. The chicken bowl has no competition on New Years Eve its the only bowl on. Its a easy trip for the fans.
