Monti T'eo? Best player on the nations only undefeated team In contention for and playing for a NC. And remember, the Heisman will be awarded weeks before the NC game is played. Who's more deserving?

ETA the part about being the only undefeated that matters. I thought people would just get that point naturally, but my bad for assuming anything about this crowd

Manziel deserves it.. but he's a freshman, so he'll come in 2nd place. We don't want A&M to get any help either.. so frick Manziel, let a defensive player win it.

Johnny football is the best player in america. If its given to Manti Teo he would be the most undeserving heisman ever.

Look at TeO's stats and look at the last few defensive players to be in the conversation. Then tell me he deserves it.

Johnny Manziel. Led the SEC in rushing as a QB that doesn't run the option. Third in the league in passing. Took a team picked near the bottom of the SEC West and got it within a TD of the SEC championship game and maybe the BCS game, where Te'o would be whiffing trying to tackle him just like everybody else.

I'll admit I haven't seen him play but a few snaps all year. On the other hand, I've seen Manziel (sp?) make some of the best plays I've ever seen in football on any level, plus a great season worth of stats to back it up. Johnny Football would get my vote.

Has any freshman ever won it? Any? If not, why start now. Honestly. The award is bigger than the player if you ask me.

Still behind Kevin Minter in many defensive statistics, including total tackles.

Manziel by far.

Took down the true #1 team at their place on the national stage in true Heisman moment fashion, along with breaking Cam's SEC total yards set.

Te'o for sure. If not him Jff. Klein would have won it but last week took him out. Who else? McCarron?

Tyrann Mathieu had a much better year last season than T'eo had this year and he barely got an invite to the presentation.

If Johnny Football doesn't win it, it'll be a shame.

because he's average as frick? hooray he does his job and racks up solid numbers. That's not Heisman-worthy. I don't give a flying frick about him losing his gf or relative either.

The heisman is for the best college player in America. Johnny football is easily the best player in college football right now. Manti Teo is a good player but does he really impact a game more then Johnny Manziel.
