His buyout is too much. He's not going anywhere.

It's a legitimate question, IMO. Obviously, this season is completely FUBAR, but, he's had three bowl victories and a MNC. Plus, what big time coach are you going to pull at a program that will probably be 4th place in the SEC West for the next 5-6 years behind Bama, LSU, and A&M?

You higher ups said money was no problem before you hired him.

He is the coach who won you a MNC for the first time in 50 some odd years, firing him 2 years afterwards for delivering an average year for the program isn't going to look to good to other coaches and the media.

Look what happened to Tennessee when the administration adopted the fan's delusional level of expectations.

An average year? If we had an average year he'd be back

Try the worst season in over 60 years for auburn, w the talent of some of the best recruiting classes auburn has ever had

Thought it was Terry's and Brother's year, but you guys had an average year, 3-8, so 1998.

I think he gets one more year. Pat Dye wants to keep him.

With NCAA sanctions looming they would be better to wait until next year and get a good coach. 2010 National Championship and National Coach of the Year...deserves another shot....
