Awkward to watch? You should've been standing there! HA!

I felt like I got Yippi-ki-Yayed on air!! (but of course didn't want to go down that road b/c when Nets crew did that with him a few years ago he finished the phrase on air!)

He also had that game against Utah (I think) late in the season when he scored something like 10 straight in the 4th quarter to help get the win.

Well not my place to name, but can tell you from working and traveling in biz... there are people from all media - TV, radio, paper.
I know b/c they would say 'hey did you see someone said _______." and when you ask 'where'd you see that' they'd answer here.

And like I said before... it's not just NOH (I know ppl who work and used to work for the organization look here as well)... but media for Saints and particularly LSU.

Sometimes that's how I would find out, b/c I'd get asked if I saw or read something, they'd tell me it was on here, and so I'd log on to look and see what they were asking me about.

Definitely sounds familiar. It's been obvious through a lot of our games, including today's OT loss, that we are missing a guy that can create his own shot and close out games. Vasquez is about the only guy who can create right now, but it clearly isn't enough to finish down the stretch and turn close games into wins. We could easily be 8-3 instead of 3-8 right now with a healthy Gordon.

9-2 with EG from day 1 would not have surprised me in the least.

I still count the losses against Philly, OKC, and New York with Gordon. They just dominated us on both ends those days. He could've potentially given us a win against Philly since we were so bad on offense, but it was still a blowout.

I knew the Rant got a lot of attention since it's by far the #1 site for all things LSU, but I thought that Hornets Talk was just this small community of posters and wasn't really noticed by anyone. Good to know that we do get some attention.

"We could easily be 8-3 instead of 3-8 right now with a healthy Gordon."

Just think if you have (a) a healthy Gordon, (b) a healthy Davis, (c) Anderson shooting like he did tonight and has done, and (d) aggressiveness from J Smith + Greivis working on controlling tempo... who are you gonna guard?

Sag on Davis? Ok, we'll shoot from the outside?

Overplay the shooters? Ok, we'll backdoor cut you OR lob inside to Davis.

It could be quite a match up problem for a lot of people.

Maybe I'm not remembering that game correctly, but I thought it was just a slopfest from both teams.

But yea, tonight, Spurs, Rockets, Pacers, and Bucks are wins with EG. No doubt in my mind about that.

With everyone healthy, this hornets team is a lot better than most of the pre-season analysts said they are.

2 main on court problems: Shooting and Perimeter D. Healthy and productive Gordon mitigates those issues big time imo.

Well, it's been fun ( I think). Maybe... interesting?? Ha! Guess I gotta thank wope?????

When time allows might try to come hang out more and we'll talk some NOH stuff.

Have a great weekend; gotta call it a night since work calls tomorrow and Sunday.

Enjoy the game Sunday in Denver and here's hoping the boys can can end the skid. In the meantime, enjoy a busy FB weekend!

(c) Anderson shooting like he did tonight and has done

Phoenix started putting all of their focus on denying Anderson towards the end of the second half, and he still was able to make some incredible shots. He's going to be a HUGE weapon to have when he has guys like Gordon and Davis to draw attention away from him.

(d) aggressiveness from J Smith + Greivis working on controlling tempo

Both should definitely put up at least 10-12 PPG. Vasquez would be a lethal point guard if he was quicker. That's the only thing holding him back.
Smith's presence was sorely missed tonight. Outside of Anderson, our bigs couldn't get anything going, and Smith would've helped defensively on a guy like O'Neal as well.

This team has so much potential. We just need all of the guys to be healthy and build some chemistry on the court.

Shooting can and will improve.

A healthy J Smith and Davis can help with perimeter D b/c they might feel more aggressive knowing who is behind them to help out inside.

Hope Jason's eye is ok. He's such a great guy and always plays his arse off.
