The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, and Miguel all say no. Look those dudes up. Good quality R&B from this year (technically The Weeknd's trio of albums is just a repackaged re-release, but still).

Agreed. Channel Orange might be my most listened to album of the year.

I'm a huge Abel and Ocean fan, but they're not necessarily "R&B". That's just my opinion.. they're the only two artists I've actually bought hard copy albums from in years, but R&B is truly dead.

My favorites were Musiq Soulchild, Anthony Hamilton (soul/r&b), Ryan Leslie, and umm.. that's about it.. I think Miguel's music is corny and his voice is annoying..
