I saw the segment yesterday afternoon, because of this thread.

In it, he said that when the bounty thing came up, he believed the league because there was no way they would make stuff up. He then said that as the case went on, he started to see that perhaps they were just making stuff up. Then this Ed Reed bit happened, which became the tipping point for him.

So, yes, this is the same SAS, and yes, the media tide is turning.

Like it or not, First Take is ESPN's unofficial editorial shoe and pretty much sets the network's position on issues. If they are taking our side then that is a great thing.

The pathetic part is that Vilma nor the rest of the Saints even have excessive film of any dirty hits..

I fail to see the hypocrisy. SAS said at first he trusted the league and took them at their word. Now after witnessing many questionable occasions, he can no longer do so and thinks the players may actually have valid points.

What is hypocritical about changing your mind about a subject?
