Be more specific. I do believe that the "rich" are being demonized. But it comes mostly from misunderstandings of economics and finance. Most people aren't up on that shite so it is quite an easy sell to the masses that you're plight in life is directly affected by the actions of the faceless "rich"
Also helps that almost no one considers themselves rich. Rich in America is defined as "more than what I have".

I actually think conservatives are playing class warfare a lot harder than liberals. 47%. Obama won by giving poor people stuff. Democrats just want hand outs. Minorities are taking white people's money.

Yea I can agree with that. I think the whole "he won cuz he gave dem stuffz" is misguided at best.
It has flipped since the election. When it was obama vs mitt, it was the dems demonizing the rich. Now that obama won, some R's have been vocal about the (exaggerated imo) free stuff crowd.
But back to my post, I was kinda referring to the recent backlash against walmart/papa johns/etc

The Wal-Mart backlash isn't new. I bought a book ~7-8 years ago that said essentially the same stuff people are saying now. Some issues fade and come back like fashion.
