Can't see most avi pictures

I got un-banned a while ago, and ever since then, I haven't been able to see all of the avitar pictures that were normally there. I know the people had them because I could see em all when I was banned. I am just not seeing probably 60% of them
What gives?

They weren't hosted on those websites possibly and haven't edited their avi yet.

I just noticed that I can't see one from a guy I was speaking with 2 days ago. Saw it then, just not now.
I don't think I need to change any settings on my computer, because I wouldn't be seeing any of them if so
