22 Pound Turkey Defrosting tips?

I want to cook in oven so it can be served at 12 Noon on Thursday.

Start tomorrow. It will take longer than they say it does. At that size, it will take 3 days.

Put it in the icebox now until Wednesday, then finish Wednesday in the sink with cool tap water covering it. I change the water every couple hours just for temp change. This will speed it up. Once thawed, clean well in cool water, dry very well inside and out, put in a pan with a towel under it and put back in icebox to keep cold and dry even more. Don't cover. Then a bird that large for noon better get a pot of coffee going and it in the oven early. It should be out of your oven and resting no later than 11:30.
