| Rubio first to Iowa... (Posted on 11/18/12 at 9:33 am)
He's going for the VP nod in earnest this time. Drawbacks are some minor financial baggage and youth. I would have also noted no ties to East Coast education, but that's not a show stopper for VPs. His performance at the RNC was solid, and his Hispanic "bootstraps" story is compelling. Honest question. Will he be ready to mount his own credible challenge (credible enough to perform well in primaries and get the VP nod) in 2016?

He won't be elected president at 45. That I can guarantee. He's running for first Hispanic VP.

They will crank up the Uncle Tom type of hate machine as soon as it appears he is making a serious move. Liberals cannot have minorities in the R party it simply farks up their main talking point.

Obama is an elected Head of State (and government in our system). He's not a King. You're a man, and you're too old for the theatrics. There will be a free, fair, expensive, obnoxious race in 2016. You needn't worry.

Obama was elected at 46 or 47. Clinton was elected at 46.

I was well aware when I made that point.
