| whats scary/ a little underwhelming (Posted on 11/17/12 at 7:33 pm)
went to the game last night.. no big deal durant is just as long as AD, im just wondering what attributes AD has/will have that durant doesn't? As most of us feel, AD is a one in a decade type prospect, just trying to think if AD will ever have the same impact on a game as durant does. I realize they play 3 and 4 positions respectively, so its hard to compare the two considering that. One more thing, AD seems kinda lost on the court, and thinking very slowly, taking a little to decide what he wants to do... Discuss?

better timing and positioning on put backs/blocks/etc. Davis is long but I've always thought his timing is what makes him truly rare.

He'll never be able to score the ball like durant. And on your last part...he's still a rookie

Durant is pretty much maxed out in terms of growth and development. Davis is only beginning. Durant is also 5 years older than Davis. Davis doesn't have the range that Durant possess but he has much more potential in the post and defensively.

Davis is a very very good defender. Has a quickly developing offensive game. Durant has a better jump shot, one of the best in the league (er... association).

He will probably bulk up and become a center as he gets older. Davis will never be the scorer Durant is but he has a much bigger impact on D then Durant does.

wow Durant's points are down, his rebounds are way up, assists are up, rebounds are up, steals are up. He had his first triple-double of his career tonight. I couldn't agree less with your assessment. He's only 24 and really turning the corner on becoming a complete player. I think a lot of it has to do with getting beat LBJ in the Finals and that playing with him the rest of the summer on Team USA. Absolutely love the Durant I'm seeing so far this season.
