Thomas never considered LSU at all. Have no reason why.

Because Michigan was big time when he was coming out, he needed to be further from home and bad influences, and LSU while not competing for titles, had a great backfield including fellow Cenla star Cecil Collins.

Lsu wasn't good at the time. Same deal with warrick Dunn to Fsu.

Because the Winnfield coach at that time hated LSU and did all he could to steer him to Michigan.
