I agree. Governments shouldn't block access.

My problem is with people who think someone else should pay the bill.

For the UN, "universal human right" = government funding

IT would help if they at least linked to the resolution. A quick google search didn't turn up anything new, but based on your linked article it appears what is a universal human right is access to family planning and contraception. Do you disagree with that? Do you want to prevent access to contraception?

Yep. People need to stop crying about "rights." Rights are given by God. People who whine about "rights" like contraception and abortion are wanting their own personal preferences enshrined.

Yes.

Well I appreciate your honesty. Luckily for everyone who enjoys modernity your views are in a distinct minority.

I believe contraception is a right...nothing wrong with keeping from having unwanted babies. You should have to pay for it though, not the government.

Don't have sex. There's your contraception.

You're just angry because I proved that none of your political beliefs have any basis in logic.

You don't seriously have a moral issue with contraception do you (assuming people pay for it themselves)?

Coming from the guy that thinks a religious monarchy is the best form of government...

I can't argue with that. But I'm not willing to enforce it through government violence. The less power government has, the better. Otherwise the government will fall into the hands of the wrong people, and the power will be used in a manner you don't like.

Finally, I found someone with a moral objection to contraception.

Yea but good luck keeping young people from doing that. If contraception ceased to exist, you'd end up with even more single moms, kids in orphanages, even more rapid decline of the traditional family, and likely way more people on Gov't assistance.

I'd rather keep contraception and make the individual pay for it. Plus you have families who don't want more kids b/c they can't afford it but the husband and wife will still want sex to show love for one another. I don't see any legitimate argument against contraception.

What's sad is he appears to be trolling...but is serious.
