Unions get more attention when they threaten to not make Twinkies than when they threaton to not make cars.

Actually, I don't have a sweet tooth so I could not care less personally. There is a story that GW will cause Arabica beans for my espresso to go extinct in 2050. But I'll be dead and won't care.

frick unions! They've outlived their usefulness and now they are bankrupting companies to feed the monster. I had partial ownership in a business with unionized employees. We shut that bitch down, liquidized it, then reopened with non-union employees.

Typical union negotiating tactics.
I remember in Wisconsin, Mercury Marine threatened to relocate to OKC. The union stood strong. When the company announced their closure of the WI location, the state legislature had to step in and officially beg Mercury to allow the union to return to the table. They did, and an agreement was finally reached.
I suspect Hostess is in a similar spot in this situation.
Unions suck.
