I don't get the hate for Neymar, just look at the goal he scored in that game before the pk. That dude is incredibly good. He's not the third best in the world YET, but he's on his way. There are very few attacking players I would rather have on my team.

He's a bitch
He's not nearly as good as he thinks he is
Ryan Shawcross would break him in half
His hair is bad enough that he should be shunned by civilised society
He's a bitch

Ryan Shawcross could break ANYONE in half. Except Zlat and Kompany.

Ronaldo is a bitch, and he's pretty damn good, and who gives a frick about his hair? I don't.

You didn't/can't criticize a single thing about his game, only his personality.

Celtic gonna Celtic I guess.

Well, you can call him a flopping pussy, but you could also call majority of footballers that.

He's probably one of the weakest players on the ball I've seen in a very long time.

Are you serious? He's a winger, he doesn't have to be strong on the ball. He has to be able to run past defenders, which he does very well. Look at Ribery, David Silva, Iniesta, and tons of other wing players. None of them are touted for strength on the ball.

He's an amazing talent. He's also an idiot.

I love him anyway.

You don't get to be a top player by "not having to be good" at something, he's skilled but way too weak and flops...

Neymar has a handful of weaknesses both on and off the field. He needs to move to Europe sooner rather than later if he wants to shine at WC 2014.

Neymar is a special talent. Sure you could find fault in him, but that's less fun than just appreciating the skill. I wish he was on TV every week.

Yes.

Since when do wingers not have to be strong on the ball? Sterling's biggest criticism in his first season is how utterly easy he gives the ball away due to his lack of ability to use his body. Every player on the field must be strong on the ball, regardless of position. Wingers can be weaker than most, but Neymar is far too weak to be effective in any of the major European leagues.

They don't need to be touted for it. Just competent enough and able enough to hold their own (which they all excel at, despite their size). Neymar isn't remotely close to the average strength I see from the wingers at top European clubs.

Ribery is actually an incredibly aggressive player who commits a lot of fouls be refusing to give up on balls.

Silva also rarely goes to ground, even with a good bit of contact. His strength on the ball is almost identical to Messi's, considering their comparative sizes (both are 5'7).

Aguero seems to be in the same mold as well.

Part of it seems to be the brazilian culture is more ok with flopping to draw fouls than the argentinians..
