I knew when we picked up Anderson he would fill up the stat column, (I picked him up off waivers for my fantasy team early last season so I was watching what he did on a nightly basis). My thoughts on him was he would get 10-15 rebounds a night for us and was a big that could stretch the court and score from all over. While I agree he hasn't quite been lights out shooting just yet, a lot of this has to do with our shortcomings on offense and the fact that we don't have a player like Gordon drawing attention away from Anderson at the moment.
With that being said I can't believe how much of a GREAT fit he seems to be for this team already, he fits in with the personality of this team with the hustle plays around the rim and seems to be really buying into Monty's system on defense.
If a healthy Eric Gordon is going to be as much of a factor as most of us feel like he will be, the potential for the future of this team is something to be really excited about.

Yeah, they knew we wanted to go to him late in the fourth quarter and it was hard to get it done. Another viable option would have been great there.

Although Vasquez looked like he couldn't miss at one point.

he averaged 8 per game last season, and averages around 9 per 36 minutes for his career. he's still growing as a player at 24 years old.

...he isn't touching 15 rpg, but 10 isn't unreasonable

Lol, ok to be fair he has averaged 8.6 rebounds per 36 minutes for his career, and he doesn't have to compete with Dwight Howard for boards anymore. He will be much closer to 12 a game than he is to 5.5 this year.

I think he's an 8-9 type of guy. Until Glass Gordon gets back however, he needs to find his stroke from deep.

he has been so far this season the definition of a streaky shooter. he's either nailing 5 3s in a game or one. not surprisingly, the hornets have won the 2 games he's hit 5.

He scored 20 points tonight. Take out the shitty game against Philly when everyone sucked and he's averaging 19/game. I'll take that kind of streakiness. He's also averaged double digit rebounds in 3 out of 5 games so far. Once again, I'll take that.

When (if) Gordon comes back, he'll be wide open a lot more and will probably balance out around 15-18 ppg and 9 rpg. Sounds good to me.

I was at game last night, Anderson and Vazquez are two
bad asses. They hustle the entire time they played, y'alls rookie bitches a lot. That rookie sensation the Hornets have bitched at all his players most of the night, looked lazy arse hell too me. I'm excited about our young Rockets teams.

I'm impressed how he puts it on the floor and creates his own shot. He's got nice handles for being that tall of a dude.

The best thing about Anderson is his attitude. Im not sure if anyone follows him on twitter, but he seems to be loving the city and the team. He just seems like a positive dude and a great teammate.

Other than the two (yeah I said two, Rivers) rookies who are trying to "prove themselves", I feel like he is the hardest worker/player on the team.

I'm a big fan. Also, I love 3's.

Ryan will average right around 6-8 rebounds a night with AD around. I'm expecting 15-18 points a night when you-know-who comes back,we need another scoring threat out there. Until he comes back he should have his share of 20+ point games with streakiness.

Anderson is a great get for us and an awesome guy to boot.

Aside from the terrible grammar, I agree that Davis does look to play lazy some times. Every game that he's played, I've seen him let a guy out hustle him for a rebound or two.

He's also a 19 year old kid out there playing with men. Some of that may be youth.
