So i've basically been living under a rock for the last few weeks- someone told me there was this election or something?
Anyone know what has happened to some of the mREITs? Spreads getting squeezed by Fed MBS purchases? NLY has taken a hit!
Anyone else raising some cash in case we go off the fiscal cliff? Or putting new money to work?

Dumped NLY at peak but held on to AGNC all the way up and now down. Fricking Fed killed the cash machine.
Scared into inactivity. Sitting at about 40% cash hoping to read the tea leaves right for entry. Looking for a sharp drop to signal a buy. But I'm also expecting lift off when Washington makes a deal. Too much political intervention causing symptoms of schizophrenia in this investor.

I should have seen it coming honestly. MTGE who is more of a hybrid REIT is getting hit today. Both of these I use as cash generating machines. I need to do a litte research but I'm starting to think NLY at $14 is overblown
