Wonder if we'll ever have anyone close to this guy.. Just watching some 2006 games and this guy is a beast. Love watching Bowe too. '06 team was sick

What about Tommy Casanova? Don't remember if he was SS or FS but he was no slouch.

Landry was not exactly great in coverage, still isn't. Chad Jones, Chris Carrier, Robert DeRutte, Jeffrey Dale were all as good.

Only thing I disliked about Landry was he would posture after delivering a big hit even though the play had went for a big gain..dude could flat out bring it though..

technically Hunt was a SS in 03, but I did feel like he was the best "center fielder" type we've had recently.

Laron couldn't dream of making a play like Reid did at bds last year

He and Reid are the best 2 that I can think of. Different styles but similar results as far as production goes.

Has Steltz ever said how much he paid that shitty MSU Qb to play pitch and catch with him?

Chad Jones was often overlooked because of a certain physical freak playing CB around the same time.

Laron Landry>>>Chad Jones

Eric Reid is better than Jones was as well. Better coverage safety for sure. But jones was still pretty good though
