Update on recommended TV shows

A month or so back, I asked for recommendations on tv shows....going away, the common consensus was -
American horror story - I really enjoyed this but it scared the shite out of the wife so we won't be watching it together.
Supernatural - We will slowly work through this series but it won't be one we watch really quickly. We just thought it a little cheesy but good enough to watch more.
Friday night lights - Nailed it, we tried it last week and ended up watching 4 episodes in the first 24 hrs. We haven't watched a series that quickly since Sopranos. Of course, it was snowing but still. Great series so far.

Would have bumped but the rules say don't do that.

Couldn't get into FNL for some reason. I finished Scrubs recently and started up Breaking Bad. Wife wants to watch it with me so I had to come up with something to watch in the mean time. Tried Freaks and Geeks and Firefly since they're board faves but neither held my interest (though I'll give Firefly another shot soon). Started Sons of Anarchy last night and that's definitely one I'll be watching nightly.

Supernatural once it gets past the monster of the week, and more into the long standing plotlines/villains it really gets going.

My dad and I were hooked instantly. Couldn't stop watching episodes one after the other late into the night. First show we probably ever both watched religiously together.
