He has nothing left to prove there. He rebuilt the program, won a few championships, has a yearly contender for titles. Not it seems as though a win is nothing more than an expectation while a loss is just devastation.

Should he try the NFL again? Should he move to another conference and build back up a program? Boston College looks like it could use some help.

I would like to see him leave, just so LSU doesn't have to play him every year.

this isn't a flame. nor is it a troll. it's a serious question, and if there can be a game thread on here for an SEC game, then I can ask a question about an SEC coach on here.

Saban has done as much as he can at Bama, and the Republicans will never win another national election

Therefore, I would like to see Saban form a new political party

two birds -- one stone

everybody wins

The only place he would go would be USC"

He might never lose their though.

10 5 stars and 14 4 stars each class.

that would be pretty interesting, actually.

he's getting fairly old, so i'm not sure he has it in him to rebuild an entire program. it would be pretty damn funny if he went to Auburn, though.

and he's 62 yrs old and looks 65. he's really gained weight this year and sometimes his face looks really tired. the pace he puts himself through is showing. imo, when the wins become a relief instead of fun, it's time to do something else. hell, he couldn't spend all his money anyways.

If USC wasnt on probation it might be a possibility.

No chance he goes anywhere in the SEC.

Texas scares me. He could go there and pretty have a spot in the playoff every year. That team has a lot of talent on it.more than bama did when he got here.

kinda exactly what I was getting at. it just looks miserable for him now.

that's the best possibility, IMO. if he were to go anywhere, it would be there. best resources to succeed, and he could become the savior of a 3rd program. then retire by 70.

i don't think so. saban inherited plenty of talent. he just had to change the culture. you could say he won with shula's players.

I would LOVE to see that. Or Tennessee.

I do think he might as well move on from Gumpistan, though. He will always be second to the Bear. Best thing would be to try the NFL one last time. He was a failure with the Dolphins. If he gives it another shot and succeeds, he erases that failure. If he falls on his face again, he's no worse off.

What would the Bammers do with their statue of him?

If I were Saban, I would honestly seriously consider the Texas job. If he could win a title at three different places, he would probably go down as the undisputed GOAT.

keep it. the gumps would be pissed if he left for somewhere else, but he did a shite ton for that program, as previously stated. they'll get over it in a few years.
