Hal Mumme is available.

Who is SouthEastern Louisiana's coach? You might be able to steal him.

Houston Nutt really wouldn't be that bad of a hire IMO. He's guaranteed to have some successful years, if you can handle the occasional bad years. I would stay away from Petrino. He'll leave as soon as he gets his reputation back

No one stocked the cabinet for him like Orgeron did at Ole Miss.

You aren't going to succeed without one. You aren't going to be able to out-SEC the SEC. So, you have to play a little differently.

Do not want. Can only win with other coaches players, and while we might have some of that, he has proven he can't bring in talent on his own.
At UK, you can't afford that.

But recruiting-wise, in their region, all the schools are running spread passing attacks.

IU, Cincy, Louisville, Purdue. They can differentiate from them by going pro-style and tap into a recruiting base with little competition from other SEC schools. Especially for QBs, TEs, FBs, OLs.

Not true, in fact I would say you aren't going to succeed with one. We had that with Mumme and it worked the first year with Tim Couch running the show, but was quite pedestrian after that.

You win in the SEC with defense first, that is wht I want a defensive head coach.
