Who are our final targets now that Williams' offer has been pulled? I know RSJ, but who else? Any chance we take more than 25 since I believe some can count back against last years' class?

I would imagine Beckwith is at the top of the list with RSJ

In no real order...

DL Robert Nkemdiche
DE/LB Kendall Beckwith
WR Ricky Seals-Jones
TE Deondre Skinner
DB Priest Willis
S Tahaan Goodman
CB Artie Burns
MLB Reuben Foster
DT Eddie Vanderdoes
DT Maquedius Bain

That's literally everyone I believe the staff is giving a look at right now. Out of all of those the only one I think you could say for sure we lead for is Beckwith.

Very highly unlikely. The writing is on the wall for him to commit to Ole Miss, and not long from now. His brother exploding as a freshman there has made his decision easier.

TBird, that's an impressive list. Can you put the % you feel LSU has with each?

Other than Beckwith and possibly Bain it would take some big things to happen for us to land anyone else on that list IMO. There's been rumblings of Burns, but from the Miami camp they seem confident they will hold onto him.

I think we have a better shot at Reuben Foster than folks think if Chizik does indeed get fired. Not to say we will flip him if Chizik is canned, but we have a very good shot to if he is.

are you saying it would take something DRASTIC to happen for us to get RSJ?

He's aTm's to lose right now IMO. Something big would have to happen there for us to land him. If we didn't win him over this last weekend, then we have a ways to go the rest of the way out.

There has been zero mention of any real progress being made with him after this weekend that I've seen. It was kind of known before this weekend he was leaning aggies way.

No 1 reason in particular, just that RSJ is a aTm lean for now. Not to say things can't/wont change, but we have work to do. It's his home state school, they will throw the football almost twice as much as we will, they are losing 3 senior receivers after this year, etc...

S/WR Chase Abbington from Missouri is another possibility. No offer or visit yet, but on the radar.

Yeah I was just listing guys with offers for now. We always seem to offer someone though between the end of the regular season and singing day.

How do we know that the Williams info is not some competitors mis-information.
