GSG .22 LR......question

I bought one a few months back and I finally got around to shooting it. It tended to jam using the Remington bullets. Someone suggested using Hornady ammo. would it make that much of a difference?
Also does anyone own one? If so how is it?

I have one and it jambs frequently. I don't shoot it much anymore as a result. I shoot my M&P AR15-22 now instead.

If you want to stay in the cheap price range though, I think Federal and Winchester bulk 22 ammo is better than the Remington stuff. My 22s choke on it a lot as well.

I was told the Winchester is junk also. Anyone use the Hornady rounds?

It all depends on what you want to use it for...
Going plinking? grab some bulk, crappy ammo.
Going shoot a competition? grab some CCI stingers.
Going shoot some critters? get some Hornady or other high quality round.

Then snag some CCI stingers. They are by far the best I've ever used.
