How about this trade in PPR league...... I give Dwayne Bowe and get Dustin Keller
I generally play 2 WR and would be left with: A. Johnson, E. Decker, B. Hartline, D. Avery, B. Lafell - so I'm not in bad shape if I cut him loose.
My Only TE at moment is Scott Chandler
On paper the trade looks bad but consider that Keller has been out most of the season and has caught 7 passes in each of last two games since back from injury. Scored 20 & 13 in those games.
Also, a key tidbit to this is I really need the guy I'm in trade with to win his game this weekend to help me get in playoffs. This trade would help his injury depleted lineup.
With all that said - what would you do?

Meh. He's your 3rd best WR if that's your roster. Don't trade him for just anyone just because you can afford to. I think he's got more value than Keller. I've had Keller in the past and he's just as prone to 1 catch games. Remember the QBs he's working with.

That's how I look at it however like I said above I can win out and if the guy I would be trading Bowe to doesn't win this weekend there is a good possibility that I don't make the playoffs. Giving him Bowe would greatly improve his current roster therfore increasing his chance at a W this weekend...That's the kicker that makes me lean towards making the trade. I would like to save Bowe but if I don't make the playoffs then what's the point?

Oh OK, well then you gotta do what ya gotta do. Maybe try and squeeze out a little more value tho, like maybe a decent bench player
