I guess we should get rid of half the team in your opinion then.

I think you missed his point.

honestly, you have to question someone's focus and dedication to their craft if they are considering Miami over the school next door that is about to pump out two first round DE's, has one of the best defensive coordinators in the nation, and competes for championships.

Tim Williams had plenty of chances to jump aboard. Looks like the train has left the station. Good for LSU.

Totally understandable but hasn't everyone really figured he was going to Miami?

This could mean that he either is indeed was doing poor acidemically, or was almost a bet to Miami, and told the coaches, and they are using it for someone else. I really wish we could get priest Willis but it seems he is all Nebraska as of late

Most likely true, but typically you keep recruiting the kid anyway, try to continue to sell him on LSU and being close to family, and hope it turns into a Jai Eugene scenario where you are able to sway him at the last minute.

What does this have to do with LSU possibly pulling his offer. You seem to be confusing issues.

I would love to have Williams in this class. Sucks if this is true.

miles filled his spot with a kid who wants to be a tiger. he made the decision for the kid.

he had an offer, he chose not to commit, lsu/miles moved on and now he doesn't have one.

you either want to be a tiger or you don't. if you don't, then we'll find someone who does. Love the attitude.

i've said this before, he needs lsu more than lsu needs him. and, lsu needed a speed end like him.

i think miles is being very selective with his choices these days. trying to avoid the kids who are going to be academic risk and having suspensions as well as off the field suspensions.

He doesn't want to come here. He has made it clear he favors Miami very heavily. If he isn't reciprocating the interest that LSU is showing him, then they need to cut their losses and move on and focus on players who are interested.

Maybe LSU knows something that we don't and it forced their hand. Who knows.

This is all fine and dandy. But the guy specifically called him out for having a kid at a young age and not being married, and stated that's a reason we shouldn't offer him. Apparently we shouldn't have offered half the guys on the team, if that was the standard.

well, that's just ignorance. silly statement by that guy.

fact his, miles doesn't appear to be putting up with these kids crap anymore. he's got people wanting to come here so he's cutting ties with diva's.

this, there are still some big time guys on our radar....we dont have time to play games, we are not desperate so we should not act that way
