I think he meant to say that he didn't know all the other coaches but knew (his position) the DB coach.
I think the meaning was changed when the words were put on paper (without the verbal inflections and body language).

Hootie sounds like he is above the whole thing. I think he thinks he is bigger than LSU. Probably a replay of LC. But with all the other 2014 DB's we are in on, I won't be too depressed when he goes somewhere else.
