Anything Joe Walsh did, or still does live is the best! He’s one of the best showman of rock that’s ever been on stage. He was a pioneer in the use of the "talkbox" - the gadget he uses with his electric guitar during the solo. Here’s different live versions of the Clown Prince of Rock performing Rocky Mountain Way through the years.

1972

1983

2004

2009

This is a good clip of Walsh at the Troubadour telling about writing Life's Been Good and it’s great.

Punch Brothers - Another New World (Josh Ritter cover)

Brought tears to my eyes. I have found some youtube videos, but it doesn't do it justice. All the videos have a lot pf background noise. When I saw them perform it the crowd was dead quiet.

STS9 -- Circus, Bonnaroo 2011

Nothing will ever touch this. They stretched it about 15 minutes and the sun was coming up towards the end of the song. Multiple eargasms.

Neko - Hold On, Hold On (plus the banter at the beginning is pretty cute)

Cat Power - Metal Heart (gives me chills)

Feist - Sealion Woman OK - If you've never seen this PLEASE watch it until at least 2 minutes in... INCREDIBLE)

ETA:

Yes - I know it's supposed to be "See Line"... I've listened to plenty of Nina Simone.

ETA2:

From my "big in Europe" collection

Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation) & Anneke van Giersbergen (The Gathering) - Somewhere (cheesy, perhaps, but amazing harmonies)

and my old favorite...

Nine Inch Nails & Peter Murphy - Strange Kind Of Love / Bela Lugosi's Dead (Live @ Aragon - 8/29/09)
