Here's some stats:

Before the final drive he was 9/21 for a mere 93 yards or so. After the final drive he completed another 4 passes for 75 yards and a TD. While I agree, he's good, I wouldn't act like he lit us on fire. The drives before the halves were pretty much their entire offensive production for the entire game.

As others have posted, there is clearly a problem with LSU's "two-minute" defense. I am not a football guru, but all fo the debate about whether LSU was in a "prevent" is largely about semantics. I would not characterize what LSU did as a classic prevent (rush only 3, drop 8, safeties deep), but the safeties were very deep and the coverage was soft. Whatever term you use to describe it, LSU has been torched in two minute defense by Carolina, A&M, and twice by Bama. It especially stands out because the D has otherwise been excellent.

The good news is that once he is gone, LSU will have the upper hand in a big way next year.

This. AJ had less than 100 yards passing until we went into prevent on the last drive. Mett's destroyed "the worlds greatest defense".

Need some Kleenex?
Do you really think Alabama played their A game?
Sure LSU helped Alabama looked bad, but Alabama made mistakes too like the two unforced fumbles and all the missed tackles and mental mistakes that the defense made. LSU brought their A game, and still for whatever reason lost to Alabama's B- game.

Yep. Alabama was the """"""""""""""""ONLY"""""""""""""" team that had missed opportunities:

-The first and ten for LSU at the Bama 13 yard line that was called back for a late bonehead PF
didn't REALLY happen. Why, it was just a mirage!

-The two missed FGs and fake FG that the coaches tried to call time out didn't REALLY happen!

-The onside kickoff that Hairston's hand inadvertently touched 2 feet from the the 10 yard barrier didn't REALLY happen.

-The 4 dropped passes in the first half that stopped drives and dropped INT inthe second half didn't REALLY happen!

-Jarvis Landry catching a pass over the middle and flopping down when he had the angle on the Bama DB for a long gainer didn't REALLY happen.

-The two times LSU had the ball inside the Bama 30
- one with 7 minutes to go and the 2nd with 2 minutes to go - weren't real. We had a chance to score 7 or 3 on each of those and run out the clock. But no, they didn't really happen.

What was I thinkiiiiiiiing ? Duh! Only """""""""""""B A M A""""""""""" can have missed opportunities !! No one else, just Bama.

How STUPID are you, really ??????????
