10.)To coach the Cowboys, Payton likely would demand complete control over personnel. I believe Jones would give it to him if it brings the possibility of a championship.

Theres a lot of fail in this statement. But if the season continues like its going right now, winning a superbowl with our team next year will be a challenge. What coach wouldnt love the challenge of establishing a dynasty with a franchise that was derelict until he showed up?

He was also widely regarded as a huge douchebag in the locker room and I'm pretty sure someone outright said that his leaving the team went a long way in their winning the SB.
