Don't over-analyze the bama game

Coaching is two-fold: (1) putting together a general game plan and putting the players in a position to execute; and (2) managing the game between the lines.
No one disputes that Miles did the first. But, he failed miserably on the second. And, each is just as important as the other.
Think of it this way. LSU won the following metrics:
1) time of possession (by 19 minutes)
2) total yards
3) total plays
4) turnovers (2-0)
5) first downs
6) 3rd down conversions (10-20 as opposed to 1-9 for bama)
When you recognize that LSU won each of those metrics pretty convincingly, you will recognize that LSU snatched defeat from the jaws of victory...that only happens when your gameday coach is terrible at it. It's what happens when your coach calls plays at random regardless of momentum and circumstance. Really good coaches who win each of those metrics don't lose games at home like Les did on Saturday night. Good recruiters who don't know how to coach lose those games.
Don't over-analyze...these facts tell you all you need to know.

What did Saban do in his home stadium last year?

Well, time of possession was even and LSU won the turnover battle last year.
I guess you don't have a solid grasp on my point. It's ok. There were a lot of words.

Bama won at home last year?
Saban had a few odd in the kicking game too.

He forgot to add the *except Saban* disclaimer...

Then why are you saying he "doesn't know how to coach" when it was pretty obvious LSU had the better gameplan Saturday? The players were well prepared and executed the gameplan. He made some boneheaded decisions...shite happens...get over it.
Saban decided to have a hurt WR lob up a pass while they were driving convincingly last year and it turned out horribly for him...not everyone is infallible.

comprehension is not strong here.
Look at the 6 things I posted. The only way you can compare last year's bama game to this year's bama game is if Bama won all of those metrics in convincing fashion like LSU did. They did not. So, you cannot make that comparison.

So .... you do give Miles credit for winning those "metrics," right? And you do realize how much goes into winning those metrics, right? You don't take that as a given, do you? Do you think it happens by accident?

I do give him credit for winning all of those categories...but what the hell does that get me and the other fans when he can't do the other half of the coaching job?
