Neighbor stuck a monster...

Our neighbor down at the ranch killed this guy Saturday evening with his bow. Said he was 9.5 years old and scored 202 5/8. Do yall think he goes over 200+"? I was questionable, but either way he is a brute.

Thats the same deer. Look at each point individually. They match. I think that drop tine looks funny because of the angles.

I'm sure they just looked at the jawbone. Its definitely not scientific but can get you within a year majority of the time.

The deer is not 9.5 years old. Under most circumstances deer are on the decline after about age 6. Based on that logic, if the deer scores 200+ now he'd of been a 250+ a few years ago.
As for score, he's going to gross score a lot under the nontypical scoring. That 6x6 frame gives a lot of measurables and the inside spread is very good. The net score will take a big hit with all the nontypical points. I'd guess he'll dry score about 190ish before deductions.

Tell me he had trail cam pics of the deer for 8 yrs and I'll believe he's 9.5.
