Yes it was obvious late in the fourth quarter on their final drive. The right tackle basically hugged the end and nothing was called

I watched for it early but stopped paying attention. Its not like it will ever change.

Worse was the personal foul no-call.

To be perfectly honest, both OL's held all night. This crew didn't call holding or much else for that matter.

This. LSU was holding all night as well.

1 penalty accepted for 15 yards. They had a few more perhaps but those were declined. I remember at least one on a 3rd down play that we declined to force them to punt on 4th. Not sure outside of that.

you do know a holding "call" is when the penalty is actually flagged don't you?

yeah, everybody knows about it. The SEC officials aren't going to call it. You have to just deal with it. It's part of the game.

Maybe so. I wasnt watching lsu's line with the same level of scrutiny. Didnt see anything as blatant as the collar they put on Minter on that first big screen play. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Still, LSU got fekked on the personal foul no-call. I don't care how much of a tulane fan you are, that one was obvious.

The call I was upset with by the refs was when they gave Copeland a personal foul flag for a hit after the play and a Bama player did the same thing a little later in the game against Mingo.

Yea that was a bad call. The refs also flagged Bama for an offensive pass interference that shouldn't have been called.

Overall the refs were fairly decent and were not the reason we lost the game.

Like I said in my post, they didn't call much of anything on either team. The 3 Bama guys sitting behind me were complaining about their defense being held all night; some of the time they were right some of the time it was the "red" glasses.

Bama holds on nearly every play...but they do it in a way that toes the line. It seems that they are very "handsy" but very rarely get their arms extended (which is when 90% of holding calls are made)

Even our speed rushers (safeties and corners) had zero success against 325 lb lineman...this is hard to believe.

Just my opinion.
