Was Hilliard hurt or was he in the Miles doghouse. I watched for him all night but never saw in for one play. Was something already posted about this.

I really don't think he would have made a difference

Hill is better runner, Ford can get to the edge, ware better blocker/pass catcher.

Hilliard is odd man out.

No he isn't. All our backs bring something different to the table.

Hilliard was hurt. That's why blue suited up.

Ive been wondering why Blue was dressed out. I guess the rumblings of him coming back in this season are true. Probably holding him out as long as they can to make sure he is a 100%.

Danielson made comment in game that Blue may be back in 1-2 weeks.

May have something to do with Hilliard's habit of fumbling when trying to get extra yards? Not that Ford and Ware haven't put the ball on the ground a few times too but Hilliard seems to more than the other backs??

Hilliard is slow as molasses when it comes to lateral speed. He's a pure N/S guy. I always cringe when LSU tries to give him an outside run play. Seriously. Hill looks like a superior back in speed, burst, and maybe even power.

Whatever the case is I am glad the game plan went the way it did. Hill is our back our main back. I think on 4th and 1 with ford in the back field Ware should have toss sweep it to ford to run it on the outside. There was soo much running room but 50 + play against the Bama vaunted defense was deliciously sweet.

I hope they don't come out flat against Miss St. I want Les to continue to take crazy risk and trust his offense to pull it off.
