Good call.

I always like Magnum P.I.' final scene where Rick did not say "I do" and the send off when Tom Selleck into the came a and said good night, took the remote and turned off the tv.

there's is one surprise near the end where it turns out Henry Blake didn't die but has just been hiding out in a Seoul massage parlor

the last shot is a happy ending

Great call!

A couple of more that come right to mind are:

Life On Mars which is pretty recent and then a classic in The Mary Tyler Moore Show

I thought Scrubs had a really unique sendoff. Managed to bring back a ton of bit characters over the life of the series for the final walk down the hall.

Only way id call the Scrubs ending unique is that they did it the best and actually got a chance to go out the right way

Newhart was an all-time great.

BSG did a great job wrapping up.

I think Fringe is going to be a good one.
