Last game when we were down two with 40 seconds to go, Monty had this lineup:

Vazquez
Mason
Aminu
AD
Anderson

The result (if my memory serves me well) was the shot clock running down and AFA throwing up a contested 3. I think I would rather Rivers in there in place of Mason because he has the ability to create his own shot. What say you?

right now, he doesn't have the ability to make it...as long as Anderson is in when we need points, i think it's fine.

Mason was the best option that night.

i think rivers will take that final lineup spot as the year goes on but you need the veteran leadership from mason so its cool.

I think Monty will have different situations in mind when we need a final bucket. It just depends.

Sometimes you'll see Vasquez, Rivers, Mason, Anderson and Davis all in on a final shot.

Or maybe he'll have Smith in at Center because you can run a high pick and roll and Smith is deadly with that midrange jumper now.

Its all situational.

Rivers certainly shouldn't get the ball on a final shot because he has proven to be, so far, a terrible shooter.

Pretty good lineup offensively but Duncan and Parker exploited AD's size and went to town in the post.

Yep. Despite the points AD really didn't have a great game. Obviously he will improve tremendously.

I think Lopez should have been in to body up w Duncan, who score like 9 straight points.

ya, when we need to stop a bucket, i think Davis and Lopez give us the best chance.

until EG comes back...

General
Rivers
Aminu
Anderson
Smoove

Smoove is too good of a shooter to leave off the court when they need a bucket
