If we have a winning record it will be considered a very successful year.

We will win games we shouldn't win and we will lose games we shouldn't lose.

Umm we just picked up one of the best players in the country today

We have 3 top 100 players coming in next season, and we can easily be playing for an Elite 8 or Final 4 next season!

It is definitely a "wait til next year" team, but we did pickup a stud freshman in Malik Morgan who is going to be on the court a lot. PF O'Bryant (former 5* McD AA) has slimmed down and is pretty fun to watch; not to mention Anthony Hickey is easily one of the top-3 most underrated kids in the SEC. The dude can play. Hickey is pretty ideal for Jones' up-tempo offense, so they'll put up some points.

with that said, Arkansas should not have much trouble sweeping us, though the game at the PMAC will probably just be an 8-10 point loss. Ya'll are pretty salty this season.

Arkansas looks the best they've been in probably 5 or 6 years. Thanks for compliments. I was just curious on how lsu looks this year and getting to know/learn about other teams in the sec.

LSU is two days away from another "game of the century" matchup...the grudge match...and you're thinking about flipping basketball??? Really????

Johnny is bringing in talent. Not sure about his coaching abilities, but in cbb sometimes talent is all you need. This years team prob wont be too good. Hopefully we dont look terrible and will spring us into next season with a class ranked between 6 and 2 coming in.

I saw somewhere we had the #2 recruiting behind #1 Kentucky.

Got to see a scrimmage/practice last week and from that limited snapshot I'd say NIT is our cieling and that's being optimistic.

The coaches really like Malik Morgan. I thought Corbin Collins(sic) looks like he can play a little.

JOB3 looked to be in much better shape, but was a bit disappointed to see his shot selection has not improved much and there seemed to be little urgency from the coaches to do much about it.

It sounded like the scrimmage vs. Rice was not very impressive.

My expectations for this year are pretty low, but pleased to see the huge signing today. I think we have two kids coming in next year that will help immediately and significantly and that gives me some much needed hope.

What is this based on? We beat you guys two out of three last year and as far as I know we have as much coming back as you do?

Is the new coach as good as I have heard. All I have heard from North Texas is how good he was for them.

Yep Hornets look like a team of the Future and so do the Tigers! Basketball will finally be relevant in Louisiana again! It will be nice to see us compete in every sport. And some post in the thread are right ALOT of people give a shite about basketball!

I'm stoked about LSU basketball. Just hope JoJo is as good with the Xs and Os as he is with the recruiting.
