Is it wierd that the only news about LSU football outside of LA is about the arrest of former players --- And during bama week?

Last year at this time there was soooo much national media hype about the "Game of the century". I feel it too. Last year My adrenaline was soaring by this point in the week, and I was Tiger Baiting the checkout clerks at the local stores --- and I live in Montana!

This year it is kinda ho-hum. I don't think anybody expects LSU to win this game, and it is creating an anti-climatic aura about this week.

This could be very good for this team -- Motivation wise sure, and that has been documented. But the attitude of the team should be much more "Let'r Rip" than the "lets secure victory in the least risky way possible" kind of football we have seen for close to 2 years now.

Of course we do have the Mad Hatter... so who the heck really knows how this plays out.

Being the underdog is not a bad thing. The pressure is on Bama.
