After tonight's episode which was the best so far IMO, and seeing the previews for next week I think the writers are starting to figure it out. I bet they had a few tryout episodes to start off and now that it is green lit it will begin to answer the many questions had.

I just don't understand why they need "tryout" episodes to realize that you don't make people 15 years removed from a washing machine look like they're starring in a Tide commercial.

I think I like Jennifer Lawrence more . . . from an artistic point of view, of course.

Evangeline Lily was still hot in Lost. I'm just asking more J.Crew and less Gap.

what? it is this episode that was the most frustrating
it just the laziest writing in the world and they don't even try to make things believable
1) they go out of their way to have the heroine guy say "no, she has to go she's the only one that can get in to kill the guy" only to have Miles be able to go in, stop her, and then both of them escape and they don't even show how he/they did it
2) the fat guy shoots the heroine guy, with a group of his "guards" all with guns in a circle...and he sits there pointing his revolver at one of them while there are people with guns literally aimed at his back just sitting there and then they just let them go?
there are so many ways they could have had them escape and made it believable...but instead they build up these huge, impossible to get out of scenarios throughout the whole episode only to have them just "escape" in the simplest ways
you already have to suspend your belief due to the concept and premise of the show...then you have to deal with some pretty bad acting from the central character...only to have them be extremely lazy in their writing and details...its so frustrating

I've been continuing to give this show a chance. I don't think I can still give them the excuse of still running episodes that were already in the can before they could address the criticisms.
The writing is not good, and is not improving. It seems like every one of Miles' former associates are all the same cartoonish bad guy with zero nuance to even the way they talk about how they knew him in a past life.
Last night might have actually been the last straw for me. We'll see. I'll probably get suckered in again next week though.

Love the show, suspend beliefs, there are a lot of things "wrong" with Walking Dead, but it's great, LOST was the same way.
Television doesn't have to follow rules, I mean if you can't accept that then go watch "reality" shows, I hear the Kardashian show is full of real stuff.

I usually do suspend belief for purposes of television and movies. But it's too tough with Revolution. It's just not good, the story isn't compelling, the characters are duds and I actually started rooting for them to get killed, and the bad guys are weak. It's just a bad bad show and NBC is to blame because I actually think there was something there with regard to the premise.

There is a difference in suspended beliefs and then just awful writing. This show has awful writing and characters, period.
It is Lost with shitty scripts basically (which I blame on NBC)
The acting is actually solid (except for Charlie) and the premise and concept of the show is great. But they just cheapen it with these retarded "evil" characters and these ridiculous situations they keep putting the characters in.
ETA: another example, I don't know where Charlies crossbow went this episode...but I'm sure she will randomly have it again next episode (along with her invisible endless pack of arrows on her back)
