Unfortunately it looks pretty accurate. I can't say I would be above it. After be involved in three straight double digit win seasons it has to be incredibly weird being so low on the totem this year. But then again that's not my career.
As far as the Nicks thing, that's the last of our problems. Grubbs has been fine.

Why not pack it in? You have nothing to gain by winning 7 games. Get a top 5 pick, grab Jarvis Jones, Montgomery or Te'o and start working on the Defense.

frick people who think like this. You go out and you play every game with everything you have. Win or lose, coach or not, you give your heart and soul to the game because that's what sport is about. Throwing in the towel to try and hopefully secure a high calibur defensive first round pick, who then hopefully turns our entire team around is insane and asinine.
1. Never give up. Never surrender.
2. There is no such thing as a sure thing
3. The way our fanbase works, if we draft a high pick defensive player and he doesnt immediately impact our entire team and have a record breaking HOF season they will eat him alive and write him off as a flop.

Christ man be realistic. What pride do you honestly think the Saints have to save by winning 6-7 games? NONE. If you argue that a high draft pick has a better chance to pan out than a mid round first pick, you are lying to yourself. Sure you can pull the whole "you play to win the game" thing, but what goo does that do? You fricking suck on Defense and your head coach is out for the year.
