RGIII @ Pittsburgh or Matt Ryan @ Philadelphia?
In a standard league I'd likely start Ryan but this is debatable because this league is a PPR league where 10 passing yards = 1pt, 10 rushing yards = 1pt, and each rush attempt = 1pt. Do the rush attempt points give RGIII the edge over Ryan even against a tough Steelers defense? Please share your insight.

A better question is WTF are you doing with both of them on your team? Why not trade one for a stud position player?

ETA: Doesn't matter what league, start RG3 as he is better than Ryan

I'll probably put one on the trading block after this week. I actually have some great trade bait because I was able to get M.Ryan and Gronk in the early rounds and picked up RGIII and J. Witten in the later rounds. I've hung onto Witten for Gronk's week 9 bye and will be looking to trade him after that. I've just been hesitant to get rid of Ryan or RGIII for a RB/WR stud because I'm scared that the one I'll keep will get hurt. It's a 14-team league so if I have one QB and he gets hurt then there is absolutely nothing left on the waiver wire. Anyway, I might just chance it and make some trades to stack my team for the playoffs.

With it being a 14 team league, you are likely extremely thin in depth. It really sounds like you are running your team into the ground. Trade RG3 ASAP. If Ryan gets hurt, so be it.

I agree with this but flip it, trade Ryan. If you're getting 1 pt per rush attempt RGIII's gotta be averaging close to 30

Well, if he was worried about his QB getting hurt, Ryan won't, RG3 most likely will.

ETA: You can get a lot more for RG3 too

I'm actually in 2nd place and only behind 1 game from the guy in first. I can use a little more depth. This is my team:
QBs: Matt Ryan, RGIII
RBs: Ray Rice, C.J. Spiller, Rashard Mendenhall, Andre Brown, Isaac Redman
WR: Randall Cobb (He's a beast and the #2 ranked WR since this league also gives 1pt for every 10 return yards), Antonio Brown, Steve Smith, Vincent Brown (Isn't coming back until week 9 or 10)
TE: Gronk, Witten
K: Phil Dawson
Def: St. Louis, Detroit
Would you say I'm more in need of a RB or a WR first?

Here's how they are ranked in my league:
Matt Ryan is the #6 ranked QB with 264.3 points
RGIII is the #2 ranked QB with 319.9 points

Ryan is the better passer for sure but RGIII racks up rush attempts/yards.

But I do agree that RGIII is more of an injury risk since he tends to run carelessly without sliding or going out of bounds which is why he got that concussion. If I'd happen to keep him over Ryan I'd like to think he learned from that.

I have both and no one will do a decent trade.

Here are the two most recent trade proposals I've gotten in a 12 team league.
Brandon Marshall and Matthew Stafford for RGIII and Darren McFadden and RGIII for Miles Austin.

I keep getting the explanation that RGIII only averages about 7-9 points more than their QB and they don't want to trade a good player. It's not easy unless you want to not get a good return. I'll probably take less if Murray is out another week.

AS for RGIII vs. Ryan, I'm going with RGIII. Pittsburgh's LBs are getting older (namely Harrison) and they have some injuries, like Polamalu which could help RGIII's production. Also, the Eagles have a new DC who might actually make them formidable on defense so I'll wait until there is a better idea of how they might change things up. Finally, the storm might have some impact on the passing game and Ryan can't make anything happen with his running.

Good point. I'm rolling with RGIII.
Keeping in mind that in my league you get 1pt per rush attempt do you think it would be wiser to trade away Ryan over RGIII if the right deal comes along? Or should I hang onto Ryan who seems to be the more experienced passer with more weapons at his disposal?

I think RGIII has a much harder schedule coming up compared to Ryan. Ryan gets to face NO twice. FFtoolbox has Ryan facing the 9th best QB schedule til week 16 while RGIII faces the 22nd best QB schedule.

I think I'll move RGIII after this week depending on how things go.

@Kashonly
I'd probably go with RGIII. The Giants defensive backfield is healthier than the beginning of the season and the Cowboys offensive line is crap. AT least Pittsburgh will be missing Polamalu and RGIII can do something with his legs.
