Should be at an all-time high. Everywhere you look, there is someone with a negative comment about our current players, former players or coaches. Our players need our support now more then ever. So many people are down on our guys, but we have just as much a chance to playing in the MNC as anyone else. In addition, my biggest support is aimed at Mett because he is really being on fairly jumped on by many people in the media. A 7-1 QB in the SEC should be picked apart as much as he has been the past few weeks. Win, lose or draw he needs our support. I'm believe that he will continue to improve and that the switch will turn on very, very soon.

Maybe we should sent Mett a Hallmark card to show our support?

Well if he flips the switch against Bama he will be the most legendary QB in history.

Go to the twitter thread a few threads down that LSU London started.

I never used Twitter before in my life but I did it for the players and they retweet you back. It means a lot to them.

Some people might think it's stupid, it's Twitter and all that stuff but it's a simple way to connect to the players and show how much you've got their back.

I've had a few players sent me tweets back saying how much they appreciate it.

Mett should grow a stache in support of the former players.

Is it not allowed to criticize players and coaches for perceived mistakes and have them answer for it?

I thought our tax dollars and donation money gave us that right?

I don't know if my sarcasm meter needs to be calibrated, but you seem kinda serious. Yes, you're allowed to criticize, and hold people accountable. You don't need to be snarky, county, these-players-owe-me-personally-for-something, Internet guy about it though. When the majority of your happiness in life is dependent on 18-22 year old kids, things aren't bound to go 100% perfectly.

If you went to the USCe game you'd know the fans are solidly behind the team.

give me a break, I don't remember seeing any empty seats (to start a game anyway) at TS this year. "Negatigers" that post on tigerdropping make up a fraction of a fraction of a percent of the lsu fanbase. Everyone has the right to question a man making millions of dollars though, there's nothing wrong with that

Where did he say there were empty seats?

And for what it's worth, I do agree with you on this:

he was talking about supporting the team, a full house is indicative of great fan support...look at auburn if you want to see a fanbase that should be lectured about supporting the team.

No one should be complaining about fan support..maybe the OP is upset at people upset with the level of play so far

if that's the case though there's nothing wrong with questioning that, but it has no correlation to fan support, lsu fans show up and support the team every week

I just didn't quite follow why you said "give me a break."

Like you mentioned, we seemingly have a large population (a lot larger than it actually is, which I why I agree with your post in that regard) that seem they could do better.

Anyway, getting to the point, just thought you were trying to start something.

My misinterpretation. Sorry about that.

this just seemed to me like he was saying the fans need to pick it up, wasn't trying to start anything just pointing out it's going to be tougher to exceed the support that already exists

No I agree. Again, it was a misinterpretation on my part.

My apologies. Didn't mean to jump you.

I am never critical of the players, just the coaches. Except for Chavis..., that guy is money.

First part was definitely sarcasm...the rest was intended, but I see how it can be perceived as snarky.

I feel I criticize objectively...don't nuthug too badly and don't negatig when it's not going well. (yes, I realize you didn't ask for that opinion).

My happiness def doesn't depend on these kids...

Not really talking about negatigers. Listening to the Louisville-Cincy game at how Rod Gilmore pretty much called out our coaches and Mett pissed me off. Then there have been many radio/tv talking heads bashing our QB. Dari on ESPN for a while said we weren't a top 10 team. As well as others. I just feel like its time for us to circle the wagon and support our Tigers even more. Can we criticize them? Yes. But in the end, this is our team we have chosen to support.

Criticism is fine. What bothers most of us is that some of you offer nothing but criticism and never even stop to think of how tremendous this program is/has become under Les Miles.
What exactly is the bone of contention? That LSU hasn't won 7 NCs under Miles? That he didn't win one of the two NCs he played for? Before Miles and Satan, how many NCs did LSU have in its long and glorious history?
No one is asking for sunshine blown up our arse, but too many of you act like this team has lost 4-5 games this year or will lose 4-5 games to come when that clearly isn't true.
