Why is it that Louisville can recruit talent but Kentucky can't?

Are the academic requirements more strenuous at Kentucky or what?

It's a smidge bit easier to win in the Big East.

And it doesn't hurt that they have Clint Hurtt on staff to get all those Florida boys.

So they have one of their best seasons since Petrino and we're having one of our worst since probation and that's what you're going to bring to this?

Louisville would have a Mizzou-esque record in the SEC.

Louisville might as well be located in South Florida

I'm not going to go around accusing him of anything, but he's the reason Bridgewater is even in Louisville. It'll be interesting to see if anything comes of that relationship as they continue to investigate but he blew the whistle on some stuff at Miami so he may get immunity from that.

You're in denial. Secondly, I'm not saying they'd be good in the SEC, at all.

True but they lucked into him. Wasn't he like a 1 star recruit?

In denial about what? I never said we were supposed to beat them. Most Kentucky fans knew going into this season that we were going to be awful and had a dead man walking at HC.

But my opinion still stands. It's much easier to sell playing in a watered down Big East with the opportunity at a BCS Bowl then to sell playing at a school that's perennially at the bottom of the SEC with a Top 5 strength of schedule almost every year. And it's even easier when you have someone like Hurtt on staff.

And they wouldn't fair much better then Mizzou in the SEC. Great offense, not much of a defense.
