Anyone have a boat blind for sale for a 16 ft war eagle, or have suggestions on how to build one fairly easy.

Avery makes one that will fit, comes off by removing 4 pins.

I'd sell mine but it would need some modification to fit your boat. Should be pretty easy mods with the right tools. I made a scissor blind out of CS tubing. It has all the grass and netting tie wrapped on. It's a nice blind but I rarely use it due to the low profile of my boat.

Mine is 52'', I thought about using tubing or conduit.

what about pvc? coburns, lowes, home depot.. wouldnt that be quicker, cheaper, easier or would towing be too touch on the structure?

PVC just isnt as durable... You can a decent blind with it but I modeled mine after the avery blind. It turned out nice, but my boat tapers at the front so I had issues with the grass dragging the water causing a major loss in speed.

tubing much easier than round conduit. Drilling through the conduit is difficult. Conduit is nice because of the 90 deg fittings etc so you dont have to weld or anything, but i chose the tubing for the drilling aspect.

Google "build scissor blind" or "boat blind plans". There are several resources out there and they don't take an arm and a leg to build. I built mine in 3 hours with 1" square tubing. Used surplus camo net for the base and hung fast grass mats on the frame when we got to our spot.

I put this thing on one of our boats 2 seasons ago. Just another option if you dont have time to build one yourself.
