My aunt's first deer

My aunt was a really really good wife and went on a vacation of my uncle's choosing this year....so they went hunting in Texas.
I still cannot believe she shot a deer at all, let alone a nice Axis like this...and she shot it at 200 yds away. I really hope she didn't break a nail! I cannot wait to hear her stories when they get back.

Axis meat is ridiculously good.
And for the comment on the price, the cost of trophy axis has dropped quite a bit. They are all over the Texas country side.

Awesome deer. Just out of curiosity, what did your Uncle have to sacrifice for her to agree to this vacation? Is he stuck doing 100 pinterest ideas for her?
