Really? I thought at least 3 teams in the NFC West at least 4-3. Two teams from that division alone could take the two WC spots. Where'd you get that info?

That's exactly what the situation is, which is why he is correct. One behind in the loss column, two behind in the win column= 1.5 games back.

Nope. We'd be screwed if the tie breakers stayed the same. There are quite a few teams ahead of us right now. However, I think the overall point is that after a nightmarish start, we're still in a legitimate position to make a run.

Yep.. after an 0-4 start the Saints are only 1 game behind in the loss column from the 6th seed.

If we're 2-4, and lets say the nearest team is 4-3, doesn't that put us 2 games back? Actually 2.5 if they have the tiebreaker?
Sorry if I'm totally off, I've never fully learned all those playoff requirement rules

No, 1.5

They've played 7 games. We've played 6. Two games behind in the win column and one game behind in the loss column = 1.5 game.

We just need to find a way to get to 9-7 and hope for the best.
